Integrated Reporting is Simple (IRIS CRM) is pleased to announce that they are now PCI version 3.2 compliant as a Level 1 Service Provider. The PCI Compliance is the highest level of security in the electronic payments industry, and businesses worldwide use it to secure the payment data during all stages of transactions.
The PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council, a global open body founded by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard, and Visa Inc.
PCI DSS is updated regularly by the PCI Council in order to address current challenges and threats. If factors in the industry feedback from more than 700 global participating organizations as well as the data breach report findings and changes in payment acceptance.
PCI DSS version 3.2 replaces version 3.1 to address growing threats to customer payment information.

The changes introduced with version 3.2 include multi-factor authentication required for personnel with administrative access to cardholder data, the new Designated Entities Supplemental Validation (DESV) procedures as well as several new requirements for service providers.
